Lesson 3: Prepare Time Planning. It is easy to confuse what is urgent and what is imporatant. Tim's meeting goes wrong when they spend 45 minutes discusing parking space allocation which ha to be decded as it was opening the following Monday. Unfortunatly there were very important issues that all got squeezed into the last 25 minutes. The judge agrees that the parking should have been discussed first, but it should have been done in 5 minutes. Analogy: ????? Learning outcome: Time managemnt. The difference between issues that ae urgent andthose that are iportant. Allocvate time, so that the most important items get the fullest discussion even if they are not urgent. Order Planning. Tims' meeting gets even worse as the discussions afterwards end up being handled separtalty but it becomes clear that each impact upon one another. They an order from a customer and then maintaenance and rthen staffing issues. They agree to take the order oy to find out in separate agenda items that btee are serious issues arround staffing and manchinery needed to deliver the order to the customer. Analogy: ????? Learning outcome: Look for logical connections between different items and arrange them in the necessary order
